I know you will do it anyway. It’s ingrain in our mind’s eye to be this way with one another. Always sizing up the next (wo)man… Living fiercely ain’t easy, but do it anyway. Move out of that space of comfort and when a muthafucka gives you that look of utter disdain…. Just remind yourself that individuality comes with a price. That price could be dirty looks, a lost job or a broken friendship. Just be ready to lose when you gain freedom.
